Wild Mountains, is a great description for this wonderful environmental retreat in the Wild Border Ranges in SE Queensland, Australia, near the border of New South Wales.

Some years ago, I lived on the western side of these border ranges and they are certainly magnificent – but Oh so cold in winter.

Richard spoke about his single-minded determination and absolute faith in the development of the Wild Mountain Trust/Retreat, which is an independent, community focussed, non-profit organisation providing leadership in environmental education and conservation.

Setting aside the environmental factor, this is a very inspirational interview.  Richard speaks of how Wild Mountains  began with just the purchase of a large plot of land, and over the years, with the help of the community, has been built into a special retreat supporting nature and a sustainable way of living.

When you visit the Wild Mountains web site, you see some of the beautiful photographs of the area and might just be enticed to go and spend some time there where you’lll learn about the Head, Heart, and Hand approach to conecting with the Earth.

ALSO as you would have heard during our talk, donations to help this important retreat develop even further are always welcome.
