3. In the 34th annual list of words that should be banned, published by Lake Superior State University in Michigan, us Greenies took a hiding.
They said that words like Greenie, “green” going green, and carbon footprint, should all be banned due to overuse.
Well I think that it says a lot more about the values of those who contributed to the list recommending the banning of such words, that it does for the words themselves.
