Yes, another special show on the power and importance of LOVE.
In 2007, today’s guest, Dr. Anodea Judith’s book Waking the Global Heart: Humanity’s Rite of Passage from the Love of Power to the Power of Love, won two literary awards. And if you’ve read the book, that will be no surprise. The book ‘charts the history of human development into our present crisis’ and discusses some of the necessary, and perhaps even destined changes and transformations awaiting us.
Anodea has far too many talents and research interests to name them all here. However, a major love and focus is on our chakra system. And in the book she very skillfully, and artistically, weaves the development of human history, with the chakra system as a foundation. She highlights how our human development, can be mirrored in the evolution of the chakra system from the base level to the 7th level.
So my reason for speaking with Anodea at this time was two-fold.
1. Because of the research she had done demonstrating our increasing global and spiritual consciousness. This is something that, for me, is so important to be aware of. The time has come when we must look to the many ways of increasing our spiritual, and global consciousness which will lead us to the happiness, peace, and contentment, and sustainable relationships that most of us crave. It really is out there waiting for us all.
2. The second reason was because this transformation that is going on around the world at this time is, as the sub-title of Dr Judith’s book suggests, a shift from “The Love of Power to the Power of Love”. I must say that I’ve used that line so many times in so many workshops and talks over the last few years.
This really is the time to move towards, learn about, and experience, the ”Power of Love”.
