Now this was a call, a show, that made me feel soooo good. My guest today was Donna Long.
Donna, who has a string of degrees and awards associated with nature and education, has a ’day job’ as a library director at a boys’ school in Philadelphia.
As a labor of love, however, Donna Long set up the website www.Connecting-With_Nature.net
The headline telling us what the site is about is ”We are devoted to the study of nature close to home”.
And together with the fact that Donna is such an inspiration and lovely woman, it is probably that topic of nature close to home that made this call so enjoyable.
I use the term inspirational when talking about Donna because of the time, money, and effort that she puts in to this great resource for everyone to enjoy and benefit from. A site that is helping to make a difference to our environment – especially the environment in our own backyard’s.
Donna told us of the many things we can see in our own backyards, and how we can attract even more of nature’s beautiful creatures.
