Yes, I’m talking about today’s guest Dr. David Loye who researched and wrote about Darwin’s Lost Theory – The Theory of Love.
David is the 1st of 5 special guests that I have specifically chosen and invited to join me over the next 5 weeks leading up to a special announcement of a project that is very close to heart. That announcement will occur on the April 22nd show.
But back to Dr David Loye and his research and subsequent books.
I’m sure that everyone has heard of Darwin’s famous Origin of the Species and “the survival of the fittest” theory. But did you realise that that is only HALF of Darwin’s theory on human evolution. Even Darwin himself got upset at the focus the world gave to the first half of his theory – survival of the fittest - whilst virtually completely ignoring what he considered the most important part of his theory, the 2nd part on the importance of love in our life.
Darwin argued that we could not evolve as a species without love. How very true that is.
Dr David Loye details his research into Darwin’s theory on love, and Darwin’s life in his book Darwin’s Lost Theory (2007) published by The Benjamin Franklin Press.
