Hello, We are all safe and well. The buildings and roofs were also completely spared and are in tact. Although, I have no idea when the power and phone will be restored. My little cabin here is pretty sturdy and pretty low lying with a hill behind so I think we’ll be OK so long as the roof stays on and the big gum-trees don’t fall on us.
But I am so upset about the birds and outdoor creatures. They have all left now but so many were killed last time.
So if you can say a prayer, or send positive energy, to us all up here and ALSO to the birds and other outdoor “wild” animals; that would be wonderful.

Not surprisingly, they decided I should arrive in town by walking up the main street as a swaggie with my sack of toys over my shoulder. Now keep in mind that Windorah is on the edge of a very, very, hot red-sandy desert. And Christmas in Australia is the middle of summer. Even so, I had on the big white beard, boots, and big red suit and hat.

What really hits home for me with these floods down south is that so many of the pictures they are showing are all so familiar to me as places I’ve lived in years gone by, prior to the Universe telling me to move up here.
I know the flooded streets they are showing and have shopped in the shops that they are showing. It’s all so distressing

The Universe brought me here about 7 years ago. And sure we can have cyclones, like the Category 4-5 Cyclone Larry in 2006 – that sure was a wild ride. But it would be impossible for us to have any major extensive flooding up here like they are having down south. Rivers and creeks up here can temporarily break their banks, but

Instead, there was an email from his very close friend and webmaster saying that John had quietly passed away yesterday at his computer. Needless to say I immediately phoned his friend but he had no further details at this stage. All we could say to each other was “I just don’t believe it”.

And even though, as I said physically, mentally, and psychologically I feel as if I’ve been put into a blender at full speed, I also am so excited about it because I know EXACTLY what’s happening. And it is yet FURTHER confirmation of what is going on, on our planet.

The same applies to all of the world’s extractive resources. It is true that, as an example, the oil industry would be extinguished and so there would be no more oil money. This would greatly upset everyone living the high life because of oil. But over the period of say 10 years, oil would be replaced with, whatever, and the global economy oil money would be replaced with the returns from that new ingredient.

But one of the biggest scandals to hit our Australian headlines occurred last Thursday afternoon. And being the major sporting nation that we are, the scandal was sports related.

However, when the storyline is combined with the visuals, and the layers, upon layers, of spiritual and metaphoric messages – that’s when the film becomes something extremely rare indeed. And a film that’s very important for this time on our planet.

I was going to come home after seeing Avatar and immediately write up a review. However, there is far too much to reflect on before I do that.
Suffice to say it certainly was an amazing, even life-changing, movie for many many reasons, and I’ll write a special blog post on Avatar in a few days, once I’ve been able to contemplate in much greater depth on what I saw and experienced.
